Pobblebonk B&B is Dog Friendly

Pobblebonk B&B, a member of the Bed & Breakfast and Farmstay Association, has recently been filmed by Channel 7, Discover Program for “dog friendly” accommodation in South Australia. This will be shown on Channel 7 on Oct. 4th 2008 @ 5.30pm (Oct. long weekend).
Dogs are allowed inside, provided they are "house-trained". Please refer to the Dog Policy for further details & conditions of their stay. If you decide to go ahead with the booking, we will require a copy of the dogs' current vaccination certificate relative to the date of their stay.
DOG BEDDING and BOWLS
If requires, we can provide the following accessories, for visiting dogs: Dog bedding, including a heated bed, feed and water bowls & Dog kennel. Throw rugs ( to cover furniture) and old towels (to wipe dirty paws). Dogs are not allowed on the bedding. Pooper scoopers to keep the gardens and the area clean.Dogs receive a special “treat” bag when they arrive at our B&B.
DOG FENCING @ B&B
The B&B is in a quiet cul de sac on a 12 acre rural property. We ask that owners supervise their dogs at all times. Dogs are not to be left alone or unsupervised as they may stress and cause damage as well as barking which can annoy the neighbours.
The deck area at the back of the B&B is a secure area, which is suitable for small dog, is partly shaded and has a small gate.
The gardens around the B&B have picket fencing, hedging and other rural fencing which would not be 100% dog proof, but fairly secure. There is a reasonable size paddock located directly behind the B&B, out from the gardens which has rural wire fencing and would not be 100% dog proof.
Small dogs and any dog for that matter, if they want to get out, they will find a way, if they are that sort of dog. Most of the dogs that stay at our B&B are very well behaved and haven’t wandered off. If they are well supervised there should not be a problem .
