Pobblebonk Dog Policy

Small to medium sized dogs are welcome.

They need to be well behaved, house trained and we only accept a maximum of 2 dogs at any one time.

Not all guests will have dogs, so please use the throw rugs provided to cover our furniture, if your dog must lie on the lounge or the carpet. Dogs are not permitted to sleep on the Beds, please use your own dog’s bedding and place in the Sunroom or tiled areas.

Old towels are provided (in the laundry), to dry off those wet or dirty paws before coming inside.

If you forget to bring your dog bed, we can provide one for your use, or a small kennel.

We have provided Pooper Scoopers for you to pick up your dog’s droppings when out in the garden and place them in the outside rubbish bin.

Feeding and water bowls must be outside or on the tiled areas and bones are NOT allowed to be brought inside.

If you are going out, you are not allowed to leave dogs behind – most dogs, we have found, cry or bark when left alone in a strange place.  Your dog can, however, get dropped off at the nearby kennels, Meadows Boarding Kennels, to spend the day if you wish. You will need to fax/post your dog’s current vaccination certificate before your arrival.

Our dog’s name is Toby, he is 10 years old and is a pure bred Maltese Terrier. He is usually very friendly but may bark at first before he gets to know you.
